Count Mario Ciarpella, after initial studies in the field of cosmetics
in the 1970s, deepened his knowledge of the cosmetic properties
of herbs during 1970s. Then, towards the end of that decade, he
began systematic research into problems relating to hair. Stimulated
by intellectual curiosity and personal hair problems, which became
evident during his time in the army, he developed a product to stimulate
the growth of hair on parts of the scalp where balding had begun,
as was the case with the researcher himself. In 1980 he filed his
first patent for his product FIOR DI LINFA and made his first contacts
with professionals hairdressers. In 1982 he filed his second patent
for the perfected FIOR DI LINFA, which led him to work closely with
doctors. During this phase he developed the hypothesis of macroscopic
cranial expansion as the main cause of baldness. That same year
he brought out his aftershave which was the technical basis for
the development of his most successful product FIOR DI LINFA VISO
(CRYSTAL LYMPH FACE). In 1982, after a series of observable scientifica
and therapeutic results, he gave his paper describing what would
later be called Macroscopic Cranial Expansion. The progressive results
and the confirmatin of the hypothesis of cutaneous traction as the
principal cause of the yelding of the scalp occurred from 1982 to
1984, and were accompanied by photographic evidence. In 1985 the
first operation to firm up the scalp began (know as spontaneous
regeneration) with revolutionary results. Hair grew back far from
the areas operated and around the scars. In 1986 he filed his third
patent for TRICO PRESS and the commercialising of this instrument,
which was the logical development of the surgical observatins gathered
during the spontaneous regeneration operation. In 1987 FIOR DI LINFA
CORPO EMULSIONE VEICOLANTE (Crystal Lymph Body Emulsion) obtained
surprising aesthetic effects - without dieting cellulitis was noticeably
reduced and the waistline with 15 applications lost to 10 cm in
circumference. In 1988 TRICO SLAM was adopted. It was the first
video camera used for the observation together with patient of the
progress of the skin's condition over time. During these years the
first magazine "Piùcheimmagine" (More than Image) dedicated to this
field was bord thanks to ghe collective effort of a team of professionals
and doctors. During the 1990s the fourth patent was filed for the
product FASCIA VISO, born of the exceptional results obtained with
cosmetic-mechanical compacting which showed how it was possible
to prolong the wrinkle-reducing effects obtained with FIOR DI LINFA
VISO without the support of glues and nutritive substances.
